I always try to live life with the acronym JOY where you put Jesus first, others second, and yourself last. UX design falls into this because I'm seeking ways to make others experience worthwhile.

I currently serve as the Director of the Academic Advising & Retention Center at Albany State where I supervise 19 academic advisors and lead all on campus advising practices. This involves heavy training and collaboration and I've been working to learn how I can incorportate more media and design tactics into the work of advising, leadership, and higher education.

I was admitted and began the Emerging Media Master's degree in Summer 2023. I am seeking this degree so that I can expand my career to include instructional design and college-level instructing
