Hi! I am Sarah K. Rogers and I currently serve as the Director of the Academic Advising and Retention Center at ASU where I have worked for 15 years. On a more personal level, I’m a proud aunt, total foodie, left handed, middle child, that loves to be outside in the sunshine!
My educational journey began with a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Marketing from Clayton State University, and I furthered my passion for education with a Master's in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern.
For me, life is all about J.O.Y - Jesus first, Others next, and Yourself last. This mantra guides me every step of the way, giving purpose and fulfillment to my career. I recently have had a strong interest in emerging media within education and am looking to incorporate more technology, apps, and engaging elements into my work which led me to the Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication with a concentration in Emerging Media at UGA.
My portfolio will be showcasing pieces of work that I have completed in the Emerging Media Master’s program along with any personal projects or fun ideas that I have come up with along the way. I’m excited to learn and share more about communications and media and how I can apply this to the world of Higher Ed, Advising, Enrollment Management, & Student Success.
